New Venue - Hanzas Perons!

A former Riga cargo railway warehouse in the New Hanza area has been reborn as a fantastic new event space. Combining more than 100 years of history with a modern approach it becomes an efficient, functional space to organise and hold events. After renovations, the building has retained its historical image, remaining a landmark of the city’s rapid industrial development, yet gaining a new purpose that will be noticed and recognised as the destination for culture in Riga.

Hanzas Perons is adaptable and suitable for all kinds and styles of events as well as being within walking distance (20 mins) from city centre. 

The event space has a total of 4400 m² space, consisting of 2,800 m² of public space and 1230 m² of the hall.

Maximum standing capacity = 2100.

Maximum seating capacity = 1200.

Having covered the existing facade with glass, Hanzas Perons has been turned into an architectural gem, where the industrial heritage of the past blends with contemporary flair. The interior of the building has been retained to fully showcase the warehouse legacy with restored 100-year-old bricks, historical wooden beams and the original wooden doors, which once served as the gateway to the cargo station.
