Switzerland

Switzerland, a canvas of picturesque landscapes and vibrant cities, offers a range of venues and experiences for any event planner. Eight key regions are set to come to the De Vere Cotswold Water Park to host a 24 hour retreat, noon 'til 'noon on 30th & 31st October. Here they will demonstrate how Switzerland, its sustainability, great train infrastructure, compliant venues etc., deliver strong business reasons for convening in Switzerland, and how the landscapes and cultural scene enhance incentive programmes. From the financial epicentres of Zurich and Geneva to the culturally rich Basel and Bern, Switzerland promises a stable and dynamic environment for any event, in a strategic European location.

BASEL

Basel, Switzerland's venerable university city, intertwines rich history and modernity, showcases 40 museums and oldest orchestra, musical theatre, offers relaxation at the Botanical Gardens and Merian Gärten. Its strategic location and the Congress Center Basel, Switzerland’s largest convention center, make it a top spot for conferences and congresses. The Hyperion Hotel Basel, located in the Basel Trade Show Tower, offers 224 rooms and a restaurant, ensuring guest comfort. The hotel features a meeting and events center, providing 8 seminar and meeting rooms, bolstering Basel's position in the MICE industry.

We hear that a visit to the "Läckerli Huus" for traditional Basel honey cake is highly recommended. 

BERN

Switzerland's capital, is accessed via Zurich airport (and is equidistant by direct train into Bern's city centre, as it is to Zurich's). Despite this the city can, sometimes, be overlooked, yet it delivers a fabulous array of old and new venues, and offers plenty to do, and experience. The Bellevue Palace in Bern, Switzerland's capital, combines historical allure and contemporary luxury. Situated in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bern's old town, the city offers a medieval atmosphere, fountains, and narrow streets, best explored on foot. DAVOS

Davos, situated in Grisons, is recognized for being the Alps' highest town at 1560m and the largest resort in the Alps. ENGADIN ST. MORITZ
